I've skipped straight to your comments because I don't have time for the full watch a long right now, and your highlights aren't working. So 2 episodes in now. Reasons to hate Season 7: 1. Leviathans. LAAAAAAAME! 2. THEY KILLED CAS!!!!! Didn't you notice? The Sam/Lucifer/Dean stuff is amazing, though. In what is for me a shitty season, it's one of the few redeeming features.

Toasted Toad

Are you not doing the Season 6 Bloopers?

Christopher simeon

“Do they have time for monster of the week” oh boy you are going to regret that. You guys didn’t have a reaction to cas dying so I guess you didn’t really get that from the scene.

Michelle Denny

I also was wondering if you were going to watch the season 6 bloopers. I look forward to those every time!

Noar

I watched the first two episodes of s7 with you guys (after not seeing them in years) and wow, I forgot just how much happened. The pace is so fast, I'm getting whiplash. But yeah, very fun reactions :)

Kristin Dorner

This is gonna be a looooooong couple of months, lol! Season 7...yeah. You guys don’t have to worry about it if you don’t like episodes, because I’m pretty sure this is one of the least liked (if not the least liked) seasons of all of SPN. For me, there’s only 7 or so episodes I like out of the 23. But, I’ll definitely be watching your reactions to all of them because you guys tend to offer perspectives that help me enjoy episodes more than I did before, especially ones I didn’t like. I appreciate that a LOT. I can’t believe they actually killed Cas like that. I mean technically they “killed” him last episode. This episode it was just the vessel with a bunch of Leviathans in it. Still, a little ink bubble and a dirty trench coat floating in the water was nowhere near a fitting ending for him. The only thing that saves the season for me is the Sam/Dean interactions. Both Jared and Jensen do an amazing job with what they are given. Although, it makes me laugh how many times in this episode they all ask each other if they’re ok. I feel like they ask so many times in such a short span of time and it just makes me laugh because like Sam’s hell wall is broken and he’s seeing Satan, Cas is DEAD and a bunch of ancient beasts are using the water supply to do God knows what and who knows how to defeat or even hurt them?!

I’m definitely in the minority here, but season 7 has always been one of my favorites. Glad y’all are having FUN with it so far 😂

Jason Usher

Lou Diamond Phillips is on the Fox show PRODIGAL SON, with Tom Payne (Jesus from Walking Dead) it’s about Payne is a profiler who’s father is a famous serial killer in prison and Phillips is the Detective in charge of the Homicide division

Jason Usher

Not one of my favorites but I do love it and don’t understand the hate

Fai

I actually enjoy season 7. It's not one of the best seasons, but I think it gets way too much hate. There's a lot of really fun and interesting things that happen imo.

Jason Usher

Sam was driving the Van that was ate the warehouse still running when Dean pulled up

Jeffrey Mlinek

Just because it is the worst season to this point doesn't mean it is not good. People place things in relation to each other and season 7 gets hate because of people's expectations.

Jennifer Lundstrom

Mark Pellagrino's performance is such a highlight in these episodes. I imagine it was a fun role to play!

Michele

Some people like season 7, but those who don't like it are pretty vocal about it. I'll wait to give my opinion to the season for a while, so I don't color you're expectations. Although I think it's too late at this point, since so many have already told you so much.

sarahzentexas

Lou Diamond Phillips was the Jack Nicholson character in a summer theater production of “A Few Good Men,” in 2007, and Jensen played the Tom Cruise character. I always thought it was a reference to that.

Dorothy

So I suppose I understand why people continuously love to repeat themselves about how much they hate this season and the Leviathan storyline. I think it's so that they can prepare you for what they believe is, a bad season. But that obviously hinders the watching experience for you guys. And makes it so some of the things that take place this season might not be taken as seriously because you've been told that the season is a joke. Season 7 isn't my favorite, but in my opinion it has some of the best MOTW episodes in the entire series. Watching it back I think part of the tone change is the fact that this seasons big bad seems to be an actual monster at this point. That in itself is a big change considering that, although hunting monsters on a smaller scale, all the seasons up until now have been primarily angel or demon related problems, which are objectively these monumental plot lines. So to go from that to just monsters, seems a little off. However I like the idea of the show actually just having monsters as the primary big bad, even if it's just for a season. Anyway I do agree with you guys and with most of the things people have said about season 7. But it's just odd that people seem to have the need to overtly, and unnecessarily demean areas of season 7, repeatedly, that you haven't even seen yet. While simultaneously wanting you to enjoy and react to the show 😂🙃. So sense people keep saying how much they hate the season and the storyline, I'll just say that we are introduced to, and experience a lot of great things in this season that completely alter any season thereafter for both good and bad. And if you hate it, it's your feelings and opinion. I just hope all the negative perspectives don't subconsciously ruin your viewing experience. Anyway, see ya next time.

Toasted Toad

Hey, where's my comment gone??? I'm sure I said something very profound and meaningful, but I can't remember what now.

Toasted Toad

I don't think us dissing Season 7 is going to hurt. Better to have low expectations and really enjoy it than the other way around. They really enjoyed Season 6 despite some people having a lot of reservations. So we'll see what happens with Season 7.

Reggie B

deans like here, lemme help you. *teaches sam to self harm*. anyways, my opinion on this season can be summed up like this. pro, the scene at the end of the ep, with sam and dean at the warehouse, is as good as s7 gets! con, that scene is as good as s7 gets, yknow?

Dorothy

Yeah, which is what I said about why people were constantly saying the same things about season 7, in order to prepare RR for what they thought was a terrible season. I get it, but repeating the same things over and over just becomes redundant and sets things up to alter the viewing experience. I mean as you know, some serious, show altering things happen this season, and I just hope those things are taken as seriously as they are meant to, now that they have the impression that season 7 isn't to be taken seriously. But like I said, and you said, maybe they will like it anyway. We'll see. Either way I'm looking forward to their specific reactions to certain storylines and characters.

AdoptDontShopPets

No one has yet mentioned the use of The Doobie Brothers song “Black Water” for the montage Leviathan taking over people through the water. Creepy and fun all at the same time. I really liked John’s analogy of funhouse/haunted house for Leviathan & Sam/Lucifer storylines.

Lostmyshoe22

Just so you know it’s not a consensus, I like season seven.

Jani Salminen

I do like this season, but apparently it's the worst season ever which is news to me lol

Meredith Konicki

I like this season, too! It actually has some of my favorite episodes in it. Each season has at least one episode (but frankly, I love 'em all even if JUST because of the characters) that is outstanding.

Sharon Owen

Well now they've seen the whole season I can say some stuff - Season 7 resets everything, no Bobby's house, no car, no Cas, Bobby gone... it's a depressing season, which is why I think a lot of people hate it. I don't dislike any season, there's always good parts of seasons. Season 6 was very strong in the 2nd half
