2021-07-15 04:28:14 LOL. Unfortunately, I hated Maxwell Lord and every moment he was onscreen, so that interfered with quite a lot of the film for me. And were we supposed to feel something for his relationship with his son? His sons wishes seemed to be the only ones which did not come true. I wish they'd had just the one villain - Cheetah - and done a lot more in the way of character development for her. All we have is Diana saying "you're so funny" or whatever. We haven't even heard any conversation which makes her think so. Also (reacting to a point in your Q&A) - why has WW not had any sexual partners since Steve? Well, she grew up in an Amazonian society. Steve was the first man she even knew. She is well used to being without male partners and without feeling the desire for any. Add to that the 'lost love' and, well, it's possible to conceive of it. And the Dreamstone rules made no sense. Originally, both Cheetah and WW wish on the stone. The stone itself gains nothing in return. It is the wishes themselves that turn bad, that contain the seeds of their own destruction. Yet When Maxwell Lord "becomes" the stone, he somehow is able to take advantage of the wishes? To get what he wants in return for granting the wish? That makes no sense.
