haha. i had the exact same headphone and broke it the same way. you can tape it and the sound will still work but it's really cheap, you can just replace it.

Colt's diary, if I remember right, said that the gun killed the Phoenix, not that he did. I love this episode start to finish. It's good to see a child-like Dean every now and again, the one who loves dress-up. But in the end, he is a hero, so he manages to insert himself into events and get the Phoenix - as well as his dream shoot-out! I think perhaps Sam represents the 'audience' in this one, ejoying watching Dean put his foot in it but also letting his brother take the Colt for his 'High Noon' moment. Glad you enjoyed it despite Greg's headache. I know that when I have a bad headache I find it difficult to enjoy anything. There's a barrier between me and any dramatic/comedy involvement. I love Bobby letting Cas use him as a battery. The amount of trust all these guys for each other, and what they are prepared to do for each other, is something I really like.

If the headache continues, please see a doctor. I know someone who had a headache and it was an aneurysm. Don't want to mess with those! Time travel. sigh Which came first - the chicken or the egg? Good thing Dean dropped the colt. That would have changed history, for sure. Because they wouldn't have had the colt when they needed it, years ago. Cas was lying about the other angel going over to Raphael's side. He was lying to them about what happened.
