Hey, guys!!  John here.  :)  Just wanted to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU, once again, to everyone who joined me for DEMON SLAYER this past season!  

With that completed for now (and while we wait for the movie), it's time to move on & I'm thinking of trying something a bit different as we'll probably have a few of our other anime returning from hiatus in the new year...

SO!  These are the ones I've currently got my eyes on.  Which one would appeal the most to YOU?!

Psych is one of my all time favorites and would be my first pick. Great characters, great comedy and (at times) great drama.

These are all shows I once watched, but never finished and aren’t particularly my thing, but I think you would like Vikings most. Though if you want just a fun comedy I suggest Psych. I’m probably more likely to watch Psych reactions just because it’s funny and pretty episodic besides finales so I don’t necessarily have to remember everything. And like I said it’s funny. A lot of goofy humor and really witty dialogue and one liners

I've seen all of the Vampire Diaries and cannot in good conscious recommend it, I gave up on Vikings mid s2, and have never seen Psych (so because I have no negative connotations with it, I'm voting for Psych by default). But you should check out The Magicians! A great supernatural/fantasy show without all the teenager-ness of TVD

Psych because it would be fun to have a reaction to a comedy show. Such a great bromance between those two. They are hysterical. And while Vikings is a good show, it is so recent that I wouldn’t watch it again yet.

I’m sure there there’s merit for all three shows, even if I wasn’t interested in Vampire Diaries, despite trying the pilot. But between Psych and Vikings... and as much as I love Psych... I think Vikings just has more to offer for not just reaction, but analysis as well. I’ll still happily watch a Psych reaction series though, especially the more serious and serial episodes.

All of this shows have to offer different things: TVD has drama that can walk the line between good and cheesy, but it is good reaction material, especially if you connect with the characters. Vikings is a a show that at first viewing you'd think it's a brutal show, but it dabbles alot into philosophy. Psych is one of those shows that it soo good but flew under the radar of many award institutions, it has a great balance of smart murder cases, comedy, endearing characters, and cast chemistry. It's a comedy police procedural, so it doesn't always have a clear define linear storyline (not to say it doesn't at all), but it will make for some new and interesting weekly reactions imo.😊....For the record, Psych would be my first pick! But any of this picks will make me happy!

Psych is loads of fun, but is a procedural with a twist - there is no overal plot arc. TVD is something I'd pay not to watch. I've heard Vikings is good, but never really worked up the inclination to watch it.

Lots of TVD haters😂😂😂. It can be a little cheesy at times, but the plot, especially throughout the seasons is really quite good. You'd definitely be into the character development and badass moments. And the spin off "The Originals" probably would have been my favorite show if I hadn't already sworn my loyalty and allegiance to Supernatural 😂. You do have to watch Vampire Diaries to get to the Originals though, but oh my goodness when I tell you it's good🤯. I especially think, you John, would be into it. But I get all the negative comments, especially for people that haven't seen it. I was the same way before I watched it, but at it's base it has that same brother relationship that pulls me into Supernatural. But season 1.. yes DEFINITELY cheesy teen love triangle situation.🤷🏾‍♀️ I'd say that if you ever watched True Blood and liked it, you'd probably be really into Vampire Diaries once it hits around season 3. Never seen the other shows though.

This show especially was the birth of one bright diamond in Klaus Mikaelson, a work of art in character development, and it's a gross shame that it didn't get the recognition he deserved because he was in a show stuck with the "teen drama" label!

Flev Dorin yeah I'm with you. The Originals was my favorite part of TVD. Although I did enjoy a couple seasons after they left, it is fact that the birth of the Mikaelsons was a treasure. And the man who played Klaus (Joseph Morgan). He deserves SO much more recognition than he's gotten and that is a real shame. He is incredible, like some of the best acting I've seen period, let alone on network television. As you said "a work of art" truly. It's unfortunate that because TVD has that label, there are people that won't get to experience Klaus, or the Mikaelsons because you kind of have to watch one to get to the other.

Yes! Its really amazing, especially considering it's network tv. I can't even imagine if The Originals would have gotten the flexibility of HBO or Netflix, it probably would have ended up being the best Vampire show of all time😂
