Yeah, I think you’d have to be certifiably insane to dislike this episode. It’s absolutely fantastic, and remains in my top three Who episodes 13 years, and ten seasons later. Truly a masterpiece that has stood the test of time, however future generations may have to ask their parents what a DVD is, while the plot unfolds.

Daryl

Thrilled that you both really liked this episode with plenty of positive things to say about it. The last two reactions for this episode I'd watched weren't quite as positive as you guys. So this was even more enjoyable because of that.

I was very excited about this weekend, because I knew you were getting two classics in a row (SPN French Mistake and Doctor Who Blink), and I love to watch people encounter them for the first time. I think very few would disagree with your analysis of the episode. It's regularly named in the top 5 best Doctor Who episodes of the new series. Small note on Kathy Nightingale's surname - you spoke about her keeping her name despite being married. She didn't. Her grandson gives her married name first, and then says she was formerly Kathy Nightingale.

I usually just watch your Supernatural reactions, but I’m not going to miss watching the weeping angels. 😬

I love how well done this episode is. The Weeping Angels are one of, if not the scariest villains in the show purely down to the editing, it's incredible.
