Yay you guys reacted to this!! I was hoping you would one day. It’s my favorite cover he’s done. Also, Jensen DOES have an album with his friend Steve Carlson. They have a band called Radio Company. Released an album the end of last year I think? It’s 80 percent Jensen. Original music written by him and Steve. He’s also featured on Jason Mann’s albums Covers with Friends. (That also has a lot of other cast members singing on it too- Misha, Speight, and Rob (chuck). Great reaction guys! Hope you do more of Jensen, he’s a real treasure live.

Jensen actually has released an album this last year. With his friend and musician/singer Steve Carlson. They are now working on finishing their 2nd album. Thanks for doing this reaction! I've loved seeing Jensen's growth from singing shyly with friends, do taking center stage as solo singer. " There has been a LOT of BTS gigs, just like you said Greg. There has always been some music at conventions, and with the SPN conventions ,just so happens that Jensen was good friends with one of those musicians that entertained at conventions. There was a lot of hanging out with each other and just jammin' . And Louden Swain was basically born at the conventions. That's Rob's band (plays Chuck). They are now the main band for all SPN conventions.

His album Radio Company was loosely named for his favorite local cafe, Radio Cafe, I believe. He mentioned it on an interview last week with Micheal Rosenbaum on his youtube podcast Inside of You . Jared's interview was put up a couple days ago. Jensen sounds amazing on the album!

That wasn’t Honolulu. It was Melbourne Australia when Jared played with them. I was fortunate enough to be there for that one. Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/LvH5XISVZrg Definitely worth watching and reacting to. It is the first time Jared played in front of crowd and they band surprised the boys by coming out on stage and they all performed together. Apparently Jared had been working on that song and wanting to do it on stage (play guitar) but was a little hesitant so they supported him. Really beautiful moment to witness.

It was really awesome! One of my favorite performances because Jensen is so tickled to be singing with Cory, and Cory was excited because he’s a SPN fan. While the band plays all weekend, most of the singing is performed at the concert heldL on Saturday night. Sometimes Jensen sings. Depends on when he flys into the convention city. Jared isn’t usually there at the concert. The other actors get up and sing a song, backed by Louden Swain. The singers you would know, by character name, Chuck, Gabriel, sheriff Jody, and young John W. Then there’s several you haven’t met yet. I see it all starting like the old Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland “let’s put on a show!” movies.

Love this one- I was hoping you’d do it at some point! 🥰 So the conventions actually started doing something called ‘Saturday Night Special’ a few years back, where the cast just basically puts on a concert in the evening. It’s pretty neat. (To answer the ‘who in the crowd doesn’t care about this’ question lol) and then boys do their panels on Sunday. So no pouting Jared off stage 😂 Sometimes Jensen or someone will try to drag him out to participate. Jason Maans did a cover album and holiday album with lots of the cast that are pretty fun to check out (Covers with Friends and Christmas with Friends). Jared actually had his time to shine on the holiday one lol Rob’s (chuck) band has been around since before spn and they have some good stuff too! They also play for the cons now and actually put out a Saturday Night Special album. This whole cast is so talented it’s disgusting and also awesome lol

Not my favourite Jensen performance as it doesn't do much to show off his voice - it's just a basic rock style "belting it" - although it is a charismatic stage performance. Nobody is concerned about getting back to Q&A - this is part of Saturday night concert, not the Sunday panel. Here, Jensen is singing with Rob's own band, Louden Swain, joined also by Richard, so Louden Swain would be well practised and it would only be a matter of Jensen coming in to take over the vocals of a sing he likes instead of Rob.

As others have said, this is from the Saturday Night Special - a show Louden Swain (Rob Benedict's band) puts on at every official SPN con. (LS are fantastic, and they're especially fantastic live, check them out!) Various members of the cast do guest performances at those shows, they're a sickeningly talented bunch 😂 Jensen's Radio Company album with Steve Carlson is also well worth checking out, they're great and it's a really good album! I may be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure Sister Christian was early-ish in the Jensen-gets comfortable-playing-with-the-band-and-turns-into-a-rock-star story. He had occasionally performed at cons before, usually gently coerced by Jason Manns (the wonderful smooth-voiced gentlemen from the Tennessee Whiskey vid you reacted to, John!).
