Don't worry Greg most episodes had me in my feelings but episode 10 was the only one that had me really crying.

I think the main takeaway from this episode is that Violet is now pretty much polar opposite of her old self. As she overheard the conversation between Hodgin and Catalya, Violet realised that those soldiers in the civil war must have something really important to tell their family/friends. With her increasing understanding of emotions and feelings, plus her first hand experiences of war, she was able to 'project' herself into the situation and understood how hard it must be to be stuck in a terrible scenario with no way to communicate with loved ones. And of course we have seen through her journey that every letter deserves to be delivered (at least that's how Violet saw it). I believe that is the main drive which led Violet there. Also, not to spoil the remaining episodes, I see this episode as the completion of her character development as the story comes full circle to Violet dealing with wars but in a totally different light.
