Literally been waiting for this to drop! In the end, Dave joined the marines, and not the army so he won’t die on that hill as Klaus said so not sure what his future would be! You’ll definitely have to watch it again! I’ve definitely picked up on a few things I didn’t the first time.. like they hinted at Lila being able to use fives power in the fight scene between them earlier on!

OHHH YEAH!!! They did hint at that power with the fight with Five. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR THE INFO! Gotta text Aaron

There is a clue that Lila has powers, when she fights Five in ep. 5 in that abandoned building, when we think that she moves fast she actually mimics Five's power. Diego can manipulate basically everything that's being thrown at him. In ep. 1 he manipulated bullets (a more upgraded power than in the last episode) but still that's a hint. The Handler, is indeed obsessed with power. And she's trying to collect special children but she only got Lila and tried to get Harlan but she has no one else. Hazel gives Five the Frankel Footage but not because Reginald was in that film, it was because there was the explosion of the FBI building. You could hear the explosion and Diego confirms this when he is inside the Infinite Switchboard talking to Herb. The new team is called Sparrow Academy, they are some of the gifted children out of the other 43 (7 are the Umbrella academy, 1 is Lila so there are still 35 powered people out there). The green Cube's name is actually Christopher. Steve Blackman the showrunner told that in a Q&A on reddit. Actually Dave enlisted before JFK assassination so something changed already, he was supposed to enlist the day of the assassination. I don't think there are multiple timelines because what Five does in this last episode is just a rewind, not jumping in time, that's the same thing that he did in the first season only that was done with the briefcase, rewinding the whole day. Btw I always thought Five lied to older (younger) himself. He knows that could have major repercussions on him so if he told him the right equation he would either become older or he would be erased from the timeline. He's too smart to do such a stupid mistake. He could screw up his time jumps but he’s not that foolish to endanger his own existence. I think he told him another equation that always made him end up in that younger body. Aidan Gallagher, the actor mentioned something about this in an interview. As I said it doesn’t seem multiple/parallel timelines to me. If that was the case why was Five so worry to meet himself saying that if the older (younger) Five didn’t jump he ceased to exist? If there’s a new timeline that shouldn’t bother him at all. It doesn’t make sense. It makes sense if there’s a linear timeline and it would make sense that he lied to him in order to make him end up in the same younger body. He needs things to happen as they did in the past (future). Btw if he went back in his older body it would have been much more easier for Hazel and Cha Cha to find him because they had that photo of him. Even with new info from Luther I think older (younger) Five couldn’t stop the apocalypse. It is supposed to happen no matter what. The way I think this is that Vanya was always going to cause the 2019 apocalypse (as Five states at the end of s1) and make them jump in time, no matter what. She had no control on her powers and she was always going to be the bomb. She repressed her powers for so much long. So even if older (younger) Five have had more information about 2019 apocalypse she'll always end up causing it. At least in the 60s she had some different experiences than 2019, she had her siblings by her side, she found her place on earth with Sissy, who showed her what real love is, because Leonard was only using her. Btw Leonard might have always helped her cause the apocalypse even if he didn't really want it. So, I think, they were always meant to jump to the 60s so that she could experience all this.

The thing Harlon was a Sparrow was a Sparrow so I think Harlon will have something to do with the Sparrow Academy

2021-07-15 04:38:05 Steve Blackman said in a q&a thing that the cube's name is Christopher, so we've got that lmfao. S3 seems like it's gonna be more focused on who the 43 kids are and where they came from and such - and that it's going to follow, to some extent, Hotel Oblivion (which is the third run of comics & where The Sparrow Academy are from) the way S1 was based on Apocalypse Suite and S2 was based on Dallas. And it's already been confirmed S3 isn't going to be about an apocalypse - which is good because two seasons of it was enough lol. And young!Klaus in the last episode was dubbed over with Rob's voice - but idk why. Maybe the audio was bad and they couldn't re-shoot?? Whatever the reason it definitely could've been worse. I didn't even notice it my first watch through. The thing that surprised me the most about this episode in particular was the entire barn scene, from diego and the others walking in - thru five reversing time - and the lone swede agreeing to end the violence. Oh and then of fucking course the ending when they're back in a version of 2019. Seeing what ben would have been like if he had been raised differently and with other people is.. Yikes. That's gonna be very interesting. Both to see what his character is like and what his level of control is (probably pretty good considering he's.. yknow.. alive sdjfks) Also: watching Justin Min try and play 'ben if ben was moved two inches to the left' Personally I loved this season a lot, there were many great things about it (the basics: the vibe and weird aesthetic were still there, the music selections were perfect, most of the character arcs were good, there were a lot of really iconic lines, the pacing was fantastic, robert sheehan was there) but there was also more that I didn't like (the possession arc and ben's actions, people's treatment of klaus /again/, klaus barely getting to use his powers or fight, vanya and diego getting klaus's comic powers, vanya being able to do things that literally are not her powers, somebody besides cody ray thompson played dave - to list a few. me?? having an obvious favorite?? never) Where as with S1 i didn't have like.. any complaints about the show itself, only character actions. I don't know if that's because I went into the first season not knowing anything about it so i had no expectations, no attachment to the story or characters, or what but for that reason (among many others tbh, including an odd unexpainable nostalgia) I did prefer S1. That said - I am really excited for the next season and I know that whatever they do it's gonna be overall amazing! Thanks for reacting to TUA - y'all are always hella fun to watch, your commentary is golden, and your theories are always very interesting :D

Diego’s power in the show is the ability to control the trajectory of moving objects! I think he just prefers/has the most experience with knives. Everyone joining Vanya in the car is one of my favorite scenes in the series. I really loved this season, there’s still plenty of room for this series to grow which makes me super excited for S3! I really enjoyed you and Aaron as a reaction duo for these. Your discussions were spot-on and you had me in stitches with your reactions to the plot twists and surprises 😂
