Luther is SO funny this season, idk if they just found out tom hopper was funny or if something this season leant to him being able to joke a bit more, but i love it. “Why do sissy and vanya care about each other so much when theyve only known each other for a month?” as a lesbian, let me say, we are just like this sometimes haha I low key hate the handler and i wish she wasnt brought back tbh, but i do rly like lila, so we’ll see!

Ahhh haha, good to know! Would you say they're decent or better representations of lesbian characters as compared to other things? Glad you're enjoying Luther's turn as much as we've been too haha. It's always especially fun to watch an actor get to stretch their more comedic range. Can't say I blame you not loving the Handler tho.. least they gave us someone new to take the edge off :P very interested in Lila's arc.

yeah i think sissy and vanya are great! theyre fully rounded characters who agknowledge but arent defined by their sexuality, thats rly all it takes! jokes aside, i think their relationship makes a lot of sense, regardless of their gender. side note, i think its pretty funny that as great of an actress ellen page is, she still cant pull off pretending to be straight like in season 1 haha

Oh, that's interesting. I didn't know she was gay IRL. I did think that her relationship with Sissy was much more convincing than with the guy last season, but that sort of thing tends to be nothing to do with RL sexual orientation, just screen chemistry. Besides, I don't think we were intended to feel entirely comfortable with her relationship last season as she was being taken advantage of.

ya her wife, emma porter, is the person who choreographed the luther and allison dance scene last season :) and yea the chemistry is more believeable this season lol
