British shows were only shown on PBS, back in the day when most of us had only 5 channels to watch. Most people skipped the channel because it only had Sesame Street and operas. Those of us who actually watched the channel knew of Dr Who. (Downton Abby not Downtown Abby. Took me awhile too. The power of a single letter)

Damn haha. Like having your own secret li'l TV club! Back when I had my old all-in-one TV/VCR, I remember PBS was one of the stations I could sometimes tune into. Never caught a Who rerun tho 😭 And yes hahaha, duly noted 😅 whenever I hear "Downtown Abbey," I immediately start hearing '70s wah-wah cop movie guitar lol.

The older guy with the leather jacket was actually in Aliens 3, he was one of the few survivors playing one of the prisoners. Also the Captain was in the Mummy, the Balloon guy that complained about getting shot in the arse.
