Joey badass was only 17 when his debut album 1999 was released. I think it’s sad that some kids have to confront the idea of survival from a system of oppression at such a young age. I have listened to All-Amerikkkan Bada$$, his latest album, It’s worth a listen. Babylon is my fav. track on that album. It deals a lot with our current situation. Unfortunately I have not listened to Capital Steez other than this track. I know he has an album called King Capital that was released after his death. I was not expecting this video today. Thanks for checking it out.

Them boys were rapping. You were right to say it sounded like New York because they radiate NYC energy to the fullest. Both of them are so talented and it still breaks my heart that we lost Steez so early.
