love the lighting in this series, all those pretty afternoon shots

I thought this was a super well directed episode. But also it needed to be due to how important it was for mood and portraying Normans internal state . The quiet moments were really important for Norman as a character and for the viewer to understand how serious and hopeless this is . It lets us to take a moment and let all of it settle in togethert with Norman. And he still tries to have composure for the sake of others , since thats how his character is . Also the way Ray reacted to all of it was realyl good contrast. Since Ray usually is more practical , pragmatic of the 3. But you can see as the ep goes on Ray's facade of not caring start to crumble and gets more and more desperate and passionate about Normans situation. It just shows how much he cares about him and how angry he about about not predicting and prepraring for this whole situation. His own internal struggle is just put on display . And plus the whole point about infantile amnesia is crazy too. I def agree about body language , the facials expressions and especially focus on the eyes, how much it was conveyed through them. Again its very well directed episode , just whole staff brought their A game , but it also was needed due to how important it was from story prespectice
