Great reaction to this awesome finale. I will discuss things on discord from now on. A lot easier if you don’t mind.

Note all the Star Wars call backs. Jaiying and Skye as Vader and Luke. Someone lost a hand in episode one, and another lost in the Finale.

lmao fuck man I love this show. It's nice to watch an uncut reaction the whole way through it's a great way to rewatch. I LOVE that sequence showing how the crystals made their way into the population it's SO good. Every cut and the timing to the beats of the AoS theme. Dope dope dope.

I understand that daisy was trying to help Cal, But wiping his memory seems extreme. Sure it helps him start over by erasing all his trauma but he is also losing everything he knows about his family and it seems like that was the only good thing in his life. Poor Fitzsimmons 😩😭 Btw Love this show and your reaction.

I forgot about that line, that's a good point. I guess ignorance is bliss. I wonder if he was consulted on that decision. It doesn't seem like something he would choose. It would be a good thing for a character like the punisher tho. Since his family is already dead, that might help him move on with his life.

Great season finale. Jiaying trying to drain her own daughter was pretty disturbing. And Cal is just the best. Such a great character and the end to his story was very emotional for me as well. Him telling Skye to stop when she was quaking Jiaying, that she doesn't have to live with that pain. "I will." He didn't want Skye to kill her own mom, so him taking that weight is beautiful and tragic. The cliffhanger ending made me literally yell at my TV 😆😆 I was SO mad because I knew I had to wait months for the next season. I needed to know!!!

Kraps

Ward unloading his gun into Kara's stomach is just so shocking. Opposite and equal feelings of sorrow for Kara who didn't deserve to go out in such a brutal way, yet delight that Ward continues to get shit on. Damn.

2021-07-15 04:46:29 Overall, this is one of greatest seasons of the show. I appreciate their storytelling with the A&B halves of the season. I think introduced Inhumans as a replacement for Mutants because they were owned by Fox at the time. Although, one of the biggest problems is the whole Real SHIELD buildup but no ultimate payoff. I appreciate the philosophical discussions as to what is best for the agency, almost foreshadowing Civil War. However, Coulson submits to a council of advisors in episode 20 and the council is dissolved two episodes later. Oliver and Gonzales were killed, Calderon is never seen again, Weaver is seen in the background at the end but essentially powerless, while May and Morse just fall in line and take orders again like nothing happened. Coulson goes back to the status quo after admitting his own faults. It feels like the whole council had heavy bearing on what seems to be ultimately insignificant.
