During the red carpet Namjoon (RM) told a reporter they only found out they were invited to perform 3 weeks prior to the Grammys! I do wish they had received a nomination for Persona and got to have a solo performance along with this, but after reading about the recent voting corruption with the Grammys executives, I’m not shocked. Plenty of my fav acts have been snubbed in the past too. I’m glad you enjoyed this! They truly have fun and make every stage something memorable no matter how much time they’re given! They’re in the middle of promo now so their performance of Black Swan on James Corden was excellent! Also they filmed a carpool karaoke that isn’t out yet, so be ready for that on trending because that’ll be a good one! By the way, if you want another kpop MV to react to, I’ve been thinking for a while you might enjoy TWICE’s “What Is Love?” The MV has LOTS of film references!

2021-07-15 04:54:22 Hot damn, just 3 weeks?!? I gotta give a lot of respect to these guys haha, seems like they really dedicate themselves to things & make them WORK. Was surprised (but also not?) BTS got no love at all in terms of actual nominations, but I'm glad their presence was felt. It's a big world of music out there. I'd be curious to hear what sort of corruption goes on, but like you said - sadly not shocking. Oh daaaaammn haha, BTS Carpool karaoke sounds magical 😂...did they have to find an extra-long minivan or some sorta flatbed? I'll definitely keep my eye out for that one when it drops for a potential ep here. Will have a look at the Black Swan performance at some point as well! Last, but not least, thanks for the recommendation!! One of my goals this year is to better organize this part of the system haha, but I'll add it to me list! :)
