The thing about camera shake in anime . I think its an overused effect, but i love it, lol. Usually it makes particular scene a lot more physical and usually it is tied to some sort of extreme thing context wise. It just works, simulating real camera movements in anime can do wonders . The episode itself was really good . Tho i know its this show bread and butter, but the incredible foresight Light had for losing memory and planing all that shit out , they were really stretching that suspension of disbelief . And boy idk what it was, but the old Light seems far more of a dick hahah, that smug fuckin face , it was probably intentional but holy shit it was so cartoonish and idk . It sorta lacked the nuance that the old Light had sometimes . At least thats how it appeared to me.

I can definitely see this being overused in this context, but I agree - definitely adds that level of grit an actual camera can. And especially for this show that's already INTENSE... lol Can see where you're coming from with Light in this one. He's so deplorable, but I guess I kinda took it as an immediate shot of megalomania &amp; adrenalin. His unlikely plan worked &amp; now he feels on top of the world. Can understand it for this moment, though I do hope he's more nuanced in the episodes ahead. This is exactly what I was afraid would happen lol, in terms of Light's contingency plan. It's pretty wild, all things considered, but I didn't have too much trouble with it in the moment given how many crazy machinations have come to pass until this point.. although.. I suppose I can't deny it's straddling the disbelief borderline haha.
