You would think hero killer merch is insane, but then Marvel made a Thanos-theme ice cream shop after half the universe became victims of the snap and the other half suffered tremendously. It became a tourist attraction. It's like a Hitler-theme amusement park right after WW2. 🤷🤷🤷

Next episode is 80% recap.

For the Stain merchandise i guess it would be considered freedom of speech. Stain was popular with general public for his ideals about heroism.

During the scene with Deku & Shigaraki, Shigaraki says all these regular people believe there is anyone that allmight cant save and it flashes to a scene with a decapitated hand in a pool of blood with what looks like a little kid.

The last time they mentioned almights time limit I think it was 50mins.

Shigaraki is still mentally a child so his place as the leader of this group of villains is forcing him to grow up fast. His morality is completely messed up, but it's nice to know that he has a sense of direction for the next season. It doesn't take long for things to get crazy in season 3 either as long as you ignore the first episode. It's a recap episode that doesn't even try to be creative with the way it retells events. You'll miss nothing if you decide to skip it.

Some of the non recap scenes are fun, they can probably watch it on their own rather than doing a reaction.

Apparently a live action movie is in the works. I hope it doesn't happen, the likelihood of it being good is low at best, and besides I think it's way too early for an adaptation. They should just let the anime continue alongside the manga. And I really loved this episode, It definitely fleshed out Tomura a little more. I do love the pacing of this show, as well as the manga. To me, this anime is as perfect of an adaptation as on can get. It's the manga, just made ten times more badass.

And I think that All Might being a teacher at UA is in order to aid the next generation of heroes to possibly surpass the present. He's probably devoting so much time to them because he wants them to be the best heroes and roll models they can be for the generation after them.

I guess that makes sense. I guess just in a super-obsessed society, I sorta feel like that's a... bold statement to make.. haha. But makes sense overall.

And damn haha, I know i caught some gnarly flashes in that scene, but I'm gonna have to look back at the finer details 😅I do appreciate, though, that when the show needs to approach dark territory... boy, do they lol. Pretty fascinating scene!

Yup the fight with nomu in the end of season 1 took a toll on him.

Yeah, I may at least check to see what the wraparound is, but generally speaking I think we remember enough to keep on trucking. It's different when you're watching in real-time haha 😅 And yeah, I can definitely see what you mean re: Shigaraki. I know he's gotten on Greg's nerves a tad here and there haha, but I've been appreciating his weird, sorta messy come-up as he tries to figure out a direction. This was hands-down his most fascinating episode to date, I think. Really dug the sequence between Izuku and him and the window that gave us into his point of view. Can't wait to hop into S3!!!

Damn.. once we get to a point where there's more free time to go around, I'd be very curious to check out the manga. As for a live action moooovie... 😅 I'm pretty much with you on that one. If they do decide to do it, I'd much rather they wait until the show & manga have run their course (or at least spanned to the point where you could more conceivably divide it up into some sort of movie or film series). Generally speaking, I feel like that'd be a very tall order. Not impossible, necessarily.. just because I do think it could bring some interesting ideas into the landscape of superhero flicks at the megaplex.. just judging by the track record of these adaptations (and the amount of fantastical stuff they'd have to find an organic way to realize), it seems like a... tall order.. lol

This is definitely the sense I've been getting. As the greatest hero (and given the state he's in), it seems reasonable he'd want to put himself to good use fortifying the future. I guess I am curious, though, about how he's able to manage both being a hero and a being a teacher, given that his power is so diminished now.
