We're a little behind due to the holiday earlier in the week, so it's Supernatural SUNDAY!!!

This week, Sam & Dean come across a sinister old painting which may be housing a malevolent spirit...  all the while Dean gives Sam a hard time about his love life, causing Sam to make an.. unexpected connection...

Sarah ordering the beer wasn’t just to show that she was grounded, it sets up how kind/empathetic she is (she saw Sam embarrassingly struggle w the wine prices and played it cool)

Yes one of my favorite episodes, and yes the rest of the final 3 episodes are insane and very emotional to.

I loved the twist in this episode of it being the little girl. I like it too when they can sneak surprises in like that. Can’t wait for next week!

this was a great creepy episode with it's twist. one thing i will say is to not rely on expecting certain side characters from these first couple seasons to show back up right away. i'm not saying they won't, just that it could be three seasons or ten seasons until they show up again, if they ever do. ;x the next episode is really good, though, so i look forward to the reaction!

Yeah, that was a nice touch to circumvent expectation a little bit. And clever with the doll hair and all that! Kinda makes you wonder about the circumstances of various ghost/crime stories you hear 😅 Excited to get into the end of the season!!!

2021-07-15 05:22:13 Very much so! ...and good to know! Was sorta wondering how the show might handle that aspect - personally, I actually kinda enjoy when characters recur sporadically. Sorta makes the time & worlds feel that much more broad and lived-in to me. And good to know!! I've said this above, but it's kinda crazy to think we're already near the end of the season! Very excited to see what's coming! :))

2021-07-15 05:22:12 Might be a little odd and a bit lengthy but the reason I joined your Patreon was because you react/review Supernatural. Our entire family love this show. And that’s saying something as my son was NOT a fan of ANYTHING scary or supernatural. But he really liked the humor between Sam & Dean. I was just happy that he wanted to sit down and spend an hour with me(teenagers😜). Sadly we lost him due to a horrible motorcycle accident October 12, 2018 he had just turned 19. While just about everything that reminds me of him breaks my heart this for some reason puts a bit of a smile on my face. I think it’s because your sense of humor is much like him. Pretty sure he said exactly what you have at one point of another. So thank you for giving me some humor & light. Because there has been nothing but sadness & dark for almost 3 months. I so hope you continue!

Somedays it can be easy to get down and feel like what we do is silly and doesn't mean much. So when people decide to share things like this with us, it's actually really moving, because it cuts right to the core of what it's really for. So even if it's from across a screen, I'm really happy we're able to share this with you 😊 Take as much time as you need to grieve, of course, but I do hope the darkness begins to part some for you soon.
