For me, it was Enter The Dragon, Godzilla on Monster Island, Harryhausen's Jason and the Argonauts and Superman The Movie. These all hooked me and got me excited for action movies and movies with special effects. I also watched Starblazers and Battle of the Planets on tv when I was growing up, which turned me onto Anime.

That's a pretty great bunch of films to get hooked with! A little bit from each end of the action/adventure/creature spectrum (nothin' quite like classic Kung Fu and old school stop-motion fx). And the old-school anime as well! I think our first intro there would've been stuff like Pokémon, Gundam Wing, and Dragon Ball Z. And I think we probably wound up seeing Princess Mononoke on the young-side as well. Having fun going back and looking up the intros for these shows haha.
