(Finally got brave to watch the episode after knowing spoilers because of Facebook) Aemond really is a "Kinslayer" but you also have to remember Aegon was Aemonds bully so no wonder why he didn't give a shit about him in the fight he probably disassociated from his brother a looooooong time ago and don't forget his most recent offence was ruining Aemonds cuddle time (lol) and teasing him mercilessly about it so that was probs still pretty fresh on his mind (as well as his mindset he's better suited for the crown) but damn this episode hurt my heart so much! I know the number one rule with anything GOT and GOT related is not to have favourites but Rhaenys was a favourite so it stings so bad and my heart hurts and I mourn because sure she could have turned back but what would that have accomplished when Vaghar was right there already? Might as well try while she's there so she knew when she volunteered that there might be no coming back and after all she said it wasn't her war to start (when she could have easily ended them all right then and there in the dragon pit) but she would help to fight it so she volunteered and thus knew the consequences but it still hurts... Doesn't make the pain any less... Also I got a huge chuckle out of the idea that Aegon was drunk driving considering how sloshed he was before he mounted SunFyre so he's just as guilty for her demise as is Aemond and Rhaenys because he was told his role and refused to play his part in it and thought he knew better Karma honestly... When Rhaenys meets Alyn and says "Your mother must have been beautiful" (maybe not the exact quote I'm going from memory lol) all I could hear her saying was "Your mother must have been so beautiful as to tempt my husband" so I 100% believe that Alyn is his bastard son but I love she had no hatred for him only acknowledgement. No matter the heartbreak it was a damn a good episode and gave us a preview of what the actual Dance of Dragons will look like in the sky.... Both beautiful and sad
