Let's talk about texting apps. They are essential to the finesse because they help keep your identity private. Anyone can simply search your name (you should be using a finesse name though), phone number, and Bam! There is your address, Linked In, and Facebook account. (This is a method you should be using to Vet your POTs by the way).👀

Which Texting apps do you like and use the most? Below I have listed some texting apps for you to check out.

Google Voice🗣: You can actually set google voice up to where it does not announce that you are using a google voice number when someone calls you (You really need to do this. Google voice announces you are using a google voice number when the person is calling you. This is a default setting so make sure to change it. I believe you have to connect your email to the account to change this feature.) You can set up a personalized voicemail recording with your finesse name as well.

The con to Google Voice is that you have to pay $10 for every number after your first free google voice number.

Text Now💬: Text now is reliable but the pictures do not always go through so often times you have to double send them. The pictures also delete after 30 days.

Pinger🔊: Pinger gives you the power to send text and video messages as well as take phone calls. However, it does not always alert you when you receive text messages. This usually happens when the wifi is momentarily disconnected. (This was reported a few years ago so the bugs may be worked out)

Telegram📞: A unique feature with this app is that Telegram allows multiple devices to use the same account as long as you can verify the numbers through SMS

Whatsapp📱: Although it works, and works well (it has features other texting apps don't have like video chat) I would only recommending using it if your POT is out of the country otherwise it can give off red flags. You will also still need a secondary number because if you attach your real number they still see that information. If Whatsapp does not accept the other text number I know for sure that it does take Google voice numbers.
