I already have a post on not responding when you're upset, busy, frustrated, or just not in the mood, but here’s another helpful post that I saw. 

It’s so important to think, pause, and take a minute before you respond to these pots⏸. One wrong text or response could mess up a relationship that you took weeks to build. I know it’s damn near impossible to be happy and cheerful 24/7, however, we have to give off the illusion that we are.🙃
