Photographic Memory - Photo Spawner Mod (Patreon)

!! IMPORTANT UPDATE 03/30/21 !!: There was an issue with the camera override that was causing some items in paranormal to have offset visual effects. I have fixed this issue! Please download and replace if you have the Paranormal pack. I will also be posting an update/expansion to this in the next few days if you want to hold out till then, but the issue has been fixed!

!! NOTE: If you have the mod PBJSims_Functional_Photo_Frame this will not be able to find the photos correctly. This mod doesn't properly tag photos as photos so the game can't find them. She has since come out with a new photo override that works correctly and is a huge improvement. If you have this, please delete it and replace it with her new Photo Mod if you want! We worked together to make our two sets cross-compatible.

Let's start 2021 off with a bang shall we? I have tried improving photos since almost day 1 that I started creating. Creating memories are such a huge part of life and in my opinion this aspect of Sims 4 was poorly executed.
I have tried in the past doing all that I can to improve photos. I made the 'We Just Click' Photo Collage Set which let you place photos into cuter frames, but that required the mochino SP and was still pretty restricting.
I made "fake" poloraids in my Major Inspo Corkboard Set Add-on.
I even tried making photo taking better with the Don't Lose Focus Camera set.
But none of them satisfied me because I just wanted to make photos easier to display in the game - is that so hard to ask?!?
Finally... I have done it. This would not have been possible with out every one of you. I can't even express my gratitude and in the sake of brevity and not making this a 500 page novel I will get to the important stuff.

This is a completely different approach than anything available. I think it is actually pretty intuitive to use so this information is really here just to let you know about all the features of the set that I slaved over. The main highlights are below and I even made a fancy 3 minute youtube video demonstrating how to use it. Probably overkill - but that's my style. Here are the major takeaways:
- This is not an override - it doesn't modify the in game photos
- It will not conflict with any mods whether it's MCCC or a photo mod
- Your original photos remain untouched and this does not modify them in any way
- If you delete this mod, your original photos will remain as if you never downloaded this
- This uses photos your sim has already taken and uses it as a reference
- In order to make a copy of the photo, it has to exist. You can either choose photos placed in the world or from your sim's inventory
- You can pick the photo to copy and create the print using on of 2 photo spawners
- The created photo print will go into the inventory of the photo spawner - not your sim's inventory (there are good reasons for this)
- The photo spawners have separated inventories so you can use them to categorize the prints too
- You can add a title and description to both the photos and the photo spawners
- The photo prints can be live dragged into the world and placed on either the wall, EA pegboards, and my cork/pegboards
- The photos can be customized any time after placing in the world
- All customizations are available in live mode - no need to switch back and forth between BB/live mode
- You can change between a push pin (3 colors), tape (3 styles), and also set the photo filter
- There are two spawner options: a vintage camera and a super outdated (but endearing) floppy drive
- The vintage camera is an override of a base game item so I split that item out in case you don't want the override - you can still use the floppy disk
P.S. No scripts or fancy stuff, just your regular ole' boring package file.
P.S.S. Before you ask - I already know what you are thinking. Don't you have faith in me? Of course I am planning on adding more styles and options. I already have some in the works including portraits of sims, family portraits and ideas for things like photos on calendars, etc etc. I got you! I just couldn't wait to get this in your hands and also would love feedback on it before I replicate it for other items. But here is a little sneak peak of some of the add-ons I already started.
