Edit - Thanks! I've got the info I needed. :)

Working on a multi-channel project, and I would like to get a better feel for what other channels people watch in the historical/educational firearms sphere. I've put in options for the active channels that came to mind for me, but please let me know if the comments if there are others you watch that I didn't include.

This is specifically about historic and educational focused material - so not the channels that are more entertainment based (Polenar, Garand Thumb, etc). Nothing against those channels; they just aren't the point of this particular project.

The Cheiftan and Drachfinal, essentially bigger guns

Jay Ess Bee

Breakdown all developmental versions of AK-50, when? 😆

Adam Schindler

9-Hole, C&Rsenal, Mark Novak, occasionally Bloke and InRange

Paul Harrell and backyard ballistics are definitely good choices depending on what the project is.

A.D.

Does Kentucky Ballistics count as "educational"? ;)

Duellist1954 (Mike Beliveau), Cap & Ball, Paul Harrell...

Also from top, C&rsenal to Royal Armories. For the Bigger guns: Drachnifel, Chieftain. :)

Thought more folks would be watching cap & ball. He shoots all the old things Ian only gets to talk about.

Too late.... but C&Rsenal, 9 Hole reviews, Capandball, Anvil with Mark Novak, Backyard Ballistics, sometimes Royal Armouries and Duellist 1954.

Anonymous

Missed the review but C&Rsenal, School of the American Rifle, Anvil w/ Mark Novak, 9-Hole, Backyard Ballistics, and (may not quite fit the criteria) but The Humble Marksman is a great source for largely factual information about competition focused guns.

Hickok45, but I'm a bit late as well

Bruce Brodnax

No, purely entertainment. Unless you count various methods of eggplant destruction "education..." 😄

Bruce Brodnax

Yes, "School" is a good one, if extremely narrowly focused, and I watch SAS as well (altho' that's more of a gun review channel, but his Q&As often reveal a lot of history that he was in a unique position to record due to his time at Colt.)

A.D.

Lol, it's probably my favourite "turn off my brain and watch stuff blow up" channel tbh.

Duellist1954

Missed the poll, but scholagladitoria does some firearms content mostly in relation to swordsmanship.

Brandon Herrera, Hickok45, Mark and Sam after work, IraqVeteran8888

Lance Thundercock

Royal Armories, Brandon Herrera, and Legacy Collectibles on occasion. Duelist1954 every now and then. Everything Black Powder and Paul Harrell very often. The Blunderbuss Brothers whenever they actually upload something. Oh yeah, and School Of The American Rifle is FANTASTIC. Got bored with Lindybeige, InRange got too weird and abrasive with viewers (though I occasionally take a look and see if he's done blackpowder stuff). LifeSizePotato had a very nice collection of interesting handguns, but he hasn't been active in many years. IV8888 stopped being interesting at all after Barry passed away. MattV2099 was fantastic, but he quit from all the bullshit and grief which Google gave him.

How is Anvil with Mark Novak no on the list? Lol

New Englander in Ole Anglia

History of everything Podcast YouTube may be a good fit for they have said they wanted to get into weirder firearm history but youtube laws.
