The NGSW weapons aren’t intended for the whole US Army, much less all of NATO.

Calling Slovenia "South Central" Europe gives them more street cred, yo. I've never wanted Adidas-style kit this much before.

Guido Schriewer

shouldn't have ask. kind of a given answer. think I move "further east" in "central europe". still sounds better than germany to me. they will never be one thing here and that is relaxed.-- just one gun: mossberg 590! no can't reach far but as it is as versatile as it gets and I kind of like it behind it.... just one gun is a shotgun to me. greetz "further east". how could one NOT love ak's...

Nice - I've been a supported of PT for years. I think what they were talking about with (Marshall) Tito was that he was the early de-facto mover behind the "Non-Aligned Movement" or what was sometimes referred to as the Third World. Not Soviet, not Warsaw pact, but not Western either. Still a thing today. I was within 100m of Slovenia last month - Italian vineyard!!

Thanks for asking my question and enjoy the booze!

Enjoyed this! I appreciate the distinction between 'eastern Europe' and Yugoslavia/non-aligned countries. When I was in Macedonia in 2000, I chatted with an old man at a market. I was buying souvenirs, and he pointed to an old medal of Tito, and told me, "Tito good". There was also a scrapped former Yugoslav Air Force F-86 on the north end of the Skopje airport.

The new military rifle in .277 Fury seems WAY to heavy to me, but with innovations in body armor if the choices are 5.56mm that cannot penetrate or .277 Fury that can the choice is easy. And there is a long tradition in militaries not caring the equipment is way to heavy.

The nostalgia for AKs sounds a lot like how people talk about the M-1 Garand.

By the by - saw this today... Lithuania’s Ministry of Defence has tripled funding for the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union, a a paramilitary non-profit, with funds earmarked for procuring weapons and equipment. The Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union has been allocated up to 4.8 million euros in additional funding this year, which is a three-fold increase compared to last year, the ministry announced on Friday. The Union – whose main activity is military training for civilians – plans to use the additional funds to purchase 4,500 sets of new uniforms, 1,500 G-36 automatic rifles with ammunition, 2,000 helmets, 500 armoured vests, 2,000 accoutrement vests and backpacks, 70 thermal imaging cameras and 250 digital radios in 2022-2025. Moreover, there are plans to acquire 60 frame tents with equipment, 20 power generators, 16 all-terrain vehicles and eight minibuses.

NOTEASTERNEUROPE haha! :) Out of all of the interviews during the years I believe that I enjoyed this one the most. I didn't want it to end and was rather sad when it was over. You guys have a great interaction between you. Their perspective is what interest me the most especially on gun laws compared to the rest of the EU block. As always it was another great video. Cheers guys
