I probably should have thought to post this earlier, but here goes anyway. I'll be at SHOT Show this coming week; what questions you would like me to put to companies there? Please specify a company with your question; my plan is to only ask one or maybe two questions to any given company.

Anonymous

Question for SIG: Why would you not release the MCX Spear in .308 for the civilian market right out of the gate? With .277 being an entirely new cartridge, a customer might be hesitant to even buy the new rifle, if the ammo is not widely commercially available yet.

Anonymous

I would like to know if desert tech/ BLK-LBL are looking at developing a hand guard bipod for the Srs or HTi series of rifle.

Anonymous

Perhaps Asking Springfield if they plan to bring the 20” barrel version of the alien to the United States or if there would be an option to get a longer barrel for your Helion as an aftermarket type of deal?

Anonymous

With SIG not being there, I guess I'd like to see how many companies have plans for 5.7 carbines. It might be worthwhile to ask Ruger since they have delved into 5.7 before

William Frank

Federal. .30 Super. Why? What niche in the market is this intended to fill? With super compact 9mm, with reasonably high capacity already a thing, and .380 filling any void not taken by these, what specific niche is the Super .30 supposed to be filling, that they think there will be demand?

Anonymous

Sig. Remember the 44/16, think they would sell?

Timothy Conklin

For M+M Industries: Will the DMR variant of their flagship M10X rifle ever become available in the US (instead of being a Canadian exclusive) and, if so, when?

Matthew Jackson

Laugo/Alien: the design seems really compelling, but they're still very scarce - any chance you're ever going to produce them in volume?

Matthew Jackson

Federal: Given all the comparisons to 9mm power and recoil, have you tested any drop-in conversion for existing 9mm competition pistols?

Anonymous

Any plans to do a SHOT Show meet up?

Anonymous

This isn't a question so much, but I think you should poke around inert products LLC, who are the worlds best paid prop makers. I doubt they'll have much visually interesting, but it still might be neat.

Anonymous

Someone needs to ask HiPoint what the status of the YC-9 is. There is a lot of discussion out there about why they made certain designs decisions, but the consensus seems to be problems perfecting the magazine, which has a very hicap-Makarov vibe to it.

Anonymous

Oh and it would be nice to hear from Ruger if they plan on putting the Marlin 39 back into production.

Reed Gregory

Is Hill &mac ever going to finish the stg 44. I heard they won their law suit

ViejoLobo

Smith and Wesson: Now that they're playing with .30 cal handguns again, any plans to revive the J frames in .327, maybe with a moon clip .30 Super capability? And why in the heck have they never built an updated airweight K-frame that's +P rated?

Anonymous

What would it take for Brownells to offer the retro M16s as complete rifles again? I know they said previously that the were done with the AR-10s, but now the website says they are done with the M16s too

Anonymous

For Springfield Armory: Will you offer a SA-35 High Power "Target" with a 6" barrel and long slide?

TJ

Ask Beretta that when they are going to release the Sako M23 rifle to the civilian market?

Anonymous

Brownells: Will they bring back the retro lineup anytime soon?

Anonymous

Question for ATF: why? Just why. But on a more serious note, why do they spend so much taxpayer money on a booth at an event where it seems like no one likes them

Grumpy Conquistador

CZ / CZ-USA: Are they planning on building the Bren 2 Battle Rifle in .308 / 7.62 NATO here in the United States now that they own Colt's production facilities?

Anonymous

Are you going to any certain place at a specific time? I won't be there, my company is scaling back the number of employees we are taking. But I'd love to see one if one of my coworkers could bring my copy of your book and get it signed.

Nick Beckwith

For Walther: How about a CCP built around the small but high cap mags introduced in the SIG 365? Seems like that would be an excellent concealed carry handgun.

Grayson Taylor

To KelTec, what zany micro compact is next. Considering their only existing designs are the now dated P32 and P3AT there has to be something coming with all the double stack micro 9s out there and now 30 Super a thing.

Ryan D Thorne

Glock- Are they ever going to make use of their carbine patents?

Anonymous

H&K. Why no MP7? 🤣

Anonymous

Also for Walther, why don't they have a higher capacity PPS? Pretty much every major pistol manufacturer has a high capacity micro 9mm now, except Walther. I would buy one in a heartbeat. TAKE MY MONEY!

Kevin Carpenter

All pistol mfgs - Will you make weapons that chamber 30 SC? Walther - CCP in 30 SC?

Anonymous

Could you please ask Palmetto State Armory what the status on their MP5 is

Guido Schriewer

ruger: as both are well liked and with magazin restrictions these days how about a mini14/garand hybrid in 223 fixed magazin using enblock 8-10rd clips. with whatever working gas system to it. prettyplease. 30-06 is pricy, 223 way easier on say beginners and garands neither getting newer nor cheaper with time.

Anonymous

Springfield - any chance of importing the 20 in barrel VHS-2?

Guido Schriewer

more clipready pistolcaliber Jb snubbies in 9, 40, 380.. that taurus has em and sw doesn't... one should think the opposite of that.

Nick Beckwith

Let me rephrase for precision: Walther, how about high cap CCP’s in 9mm and maybe Super Carry? Plus an optic option on top? Would in my mind be a superb pistol. Hi cap PPS a good idea too, as mentioned.

Anonymous

Ruger, any chance on a 460 sw clambering

Anonymous

Good one....also ask PSA what the timeline is for the steel case ammo production line they are supposed to be importing and setting up and if they have any plans to expand the calibers they will manufacture outside 7.62X39.

Anonymous

Any chance for a meetup with supporters who are also attending?

Anonymous

For Kalashnikov USA: Any plans to make SVDs?

Anonymous

For Desert Tech: Do you think it would be possible to have a quad stack mag well into which a standard magazine would fit and function?

Anonymous

I seem to remember a shot show interview of someone in the last few years that was working on a double-action only PCC or carbine or rifle (in that it was not semi-automatic but the hammer was cocked and released with every pull of the trigger) in an effort to develop something that would be legal in all 50 states....don't remember magazines being address but would think they would have to address it in some form of fashion.

Anonymous

If you see reps from Fight Lite Industries please try to find out if the SCR is ever going to be available again.

Anonymous

Question for any mfg- Is the Second Amendment to the Constitution absolute?

Anonymous

Franklin Armory are they still bitter over the whole reformation JKJK.

Anonymous

What will be the path forward for remington Firearms? Going to try and complete with Savage and Ruger in the entry level market, or some other path.

Anonymous

Dear Glock: why are you so boring, yet I love you anyway?

Jeff Price

Knight's Armament: I understand you have the engineering package for the Stoner 63. Any plans on making any? or using any of that design in some other product? Thanks.

Anonymous

Any new controlled feed big game rifles out there?

Anonymous

For Smith and Wesson: To what extent is the CSX influenced by the 1911? Would they consider the CSX to be an outgrowth of the "2011" concept?

Anonymous

Don't know if T-WORX will be there if not for Vortex, if the Smart Pic rail for the NGSW sees a commercial release will a adapter system be available for current manufactured optics?

Anonymous

For Springfield Armory: Any plans to offer the Hellion in 308?

Anonymous

For Smith and Wesson, Sig and anyone else who makes micro compact 380s: Any plans to follow the footsteps of Ruger and offer double stack versions of their current single stack 380 pistols?

Molly McAllister

For Sig Saur: Is there any truth to the rumors that Sig is discontinuing all lines of non-polymer pistols and if so, why? The P226 is iconic and surely isn't that unpopular compared to the 320.

Anonymous

Any plans for Colt to re-issue the Colt Hammerless .380? Considering the success that Sig Sauer had with the P210, and Springfield Armory re-introducing the FN Hi-Power, it would seem to be a Good Idea (tm). Are any manufacturers considering introducing competition pistols with a gas-delayed blowback system like the Laugo Alien?

Anonymous

For Federal

Anonymous

For Federal, Compare new 30 Super Carry to 7

Anonymous

65 french

Anonymous

For Federal, Compare 30 Super Carry to 7.65x20 French. Dementions performance etc.

Anonymous

Springfield Armory - Any Chance the Hellion with the 20" barrel being imported and then sold in Canada? the current 16" makes it restricted and complicated but the 20" makes it Non-Restricted. Kel-Tec - Any plans for something chambered in 7.62x25 Tokarev?

Brian Burchanowski

For Springfield Armory - Will they be importing a version of the VHS-K2 "CT" with the integrated 1.5x optic? Or alternatively, will they be making the optic integrated carry handle available as a separate part? Also, any chance of getting mag well conversion parts for using G36 mags similar to what CZ did for the Bren S1?

Anonymous

Consider inquiring at Brownells. They are offering a lightweight, polymer receiver, fixed stock, pencil barrel retro-AR15 that may be of interest to some of your viewers. Perhaps they will jazz it up with a quad-rail, stepped heavy barrel, forward assist, and other modern features found on a normal M4 style carbine.

Anonymous

I beseech you to implore KELTEC to confirm the release of the eagerly anticipated "OTHAIS Signature Edition" of their KELTEC Pistol Caliber Scout Carbine Sub 2000 . Preferably with rotating forearm, bayonet lug, and chambered in the phenomenal .45GAP ! They will have to bring in dump trucks every day to haul away the money it will make.

Anonymous

I doubt CZ/Colt will do the Hammerless. US Armament produces an accurate reproduction .32 ACP Pocket Hammerless and they're asking $1,300 for the parked version, $1400 for blued. $2,200 for the OSS suppressed limited edition.

Anonymous

Probably not, considering they just announced the reintroduction of the Equinox finish for the 220, 226, 229, and 320 AXG, which itself is a line of metal frame 320s.

Ryan D Thorne

Aimpoint- Will anything other than a red dot reticle be offered?

Eki T

If anyone happens to be launching a defensive rimfire, I'd like to hear industry opinions on why double-sided firing pins aren't used anymore. They seem like an easy way to mitigate the most common rimfire failure.

Chairman

Othais asks you to explain technology (Utreon) to gun companies, please.

Anonymous

Get more information about the development and goals of the new .30 Super Carry. Especially since most new handgun cartridges crash and burn.

Anonymous

Ask Henry how they view Ruger/Marlin as competition.

Anonymous

To all the ammo manufacturers, “Buy what % do they hope to increase primer production for retail sale”. Primers seam to be the last thing to recover from the “Great Shortage”.

Anonymous

Could you maybe ask H&K about the possibility of adding a 10mm to their lineup? 10mm seems to be growing in popularity and an H&K 10mm would be amazing. I would request you ask the Same question to Sig, but Alas they aren't going to be at shotshow.

Anonymous

Any chance of a meet and greet with your Patreon supporters ?

Anonymous

Hello. I wish you to ask Glock, if they consider Making a 10mm compact like the 23/19. Best regards Kristian

Anonymous

All about capacity in compact carry guns. Pretty much the same ballistics as 115 gr 9mm, but with +2 capacity VS a 10 round 9mm mag. If the round turns out to be reliable, then I feel like it'll simply be superior as opposed to niche.

Anonymous

I live in Las Vegas and am quite a serious firearms collector. I may have a few things that would make good subjects for Forgotten Weapons.

Anonymous

I wonder if CZ could make a practical version of the innovative Laugo Alien?

Anonymous

Can you ask if the designer of the Laugo Alien is familiar with Bent Agner Nielsens target pistols?

Anonymous

This question is for Desert Tech. I don't believe that the Desert Tech quad stack magazine that requires a completely redesigned lower is a commercially or militarily viable product based both on the historical issues with quad stack mags and the fact that there are so many "standard" lowers and magazines on the market that present this product with too high a hill to climb. Why am I wrong?

Anonymous

I'd love to know why any firearms company would ever make a product commercially available to any country other than the US (*cough cough* HK) given that (as far as I know) we have the largest consumer base.

Anonymous

Wondering if GD and Sig will have the new Army 6.8 rifles available for you to inspect? Hoping for you to get “hands on” for some type of review.

Anonymous

Seriously though!!! WTF HK! I want an MP7 pistol so I can SBR it!

Cleansweep

True Velocity - When can we expect to see other calibers using their polymer case technology on the civilian market? So far, only 7.62x51 has made it to market, and I don't believe there's been anything announced since.

Anonymous

Ruger - Since the 57 has the magwell size, how about a 7.62x25?

Anonymous

Kel Tec: plans for other guns using the CP33 magazine. A bullpup .22lr?

Anonymous

Eaa girsan or Springfield armory - are there plans to release there new hi power copies in other calibers?

Anonymous

Savage: What is your relationship with Honor defense exactly - e.g. did you buy the whole company... or did you buy just the tech package...? Why is this relationship kept secret?

Anonymous

Ask Springfield why they have the VHS-2 such a cringe stateside model name.

Anonymous

Zastava America - Is the PPZ still in the works? Can you bring the 7.62x25 version to the USA?

William Flowers

HK… any plans to resurrect the P7M8/P7M13? Classic version🤞or Modern version with higher capacity?

Anonymous

Please consider asking CZ if they plan on releasing another VZ.58 variant here in the US.

Anonymous

Beretta - Any hopes for a modernized Cheetah?

Herk

Please ask any/every decent modern handgun manufacturer if they can/would put a straight-up 1911 trigger in their modern gun and if they can't/won't then why not.

Matteo Manino

For Beretta: any hopes for a striker fired PX4?

Anonymous

Hey Ian, I have a question for Brownell’s. Is there any chance of the “Retro” line getting back into production? I would really love to get my hands on one.

Anonymous

Question for Beretta. I have heard rumors about a second generation for the PX4 Storm pistols. Any truth to that and if so, would they consider changing the grip to be more like the APX Line?

Anonymous

Question for Henry Rifles. Will there be any more production of the Big Boy Steel in 327 Fed Magnum?

Anonymous

2 Questions for Ruger. Any chance of a higher capacity revolver in 327 Federal Magnum (Like a GP-100 with 8rnds). Also, any chance of a new hammer fire pistol like the P Series?

Anonymous

Question for Savage Rifles. Will you ever make the Impulse Predator in 5.56?

Anonymous

for kel tec can you ask them how they became so crazy and intresting

Anonymous

For HK if possible could you ask if they have any plans on a civilian MP7

Anonymous

i would love any info you can find on the new production marlin rifles are going to be available in .30-30 or pistol calibers

Daniel Puzino

Palmetto State Armory: any plans on a .45/10mm Dagger?

Taytayflan

For FN: Why not rail or optic ready the 'new' Hi-Power?

Anonymous

Any lightweight/low profile weapon lights that would fit well with the WWSD 2020 platform?

Erik Stewart

What is the conceivably worst gun that Karl could still spin a spinner target with?

Anonymous

Please visit the B&T booth and ask them when the revised Station Six 9mm pistols will be arriving Stateside; I've had mine on order since July

Anonymous

So if you could stop by the FN booth and ask them about the new Hi Power that would be amazing, specifically if it has a magazine disconnect or not (I want that feature gone personally) thanks Ian!!!!

Anonymous

For Sig- I've heard that the chamber pressure for the new NGSW MCX Spear in the 6,8MM is crazy high- like 80,000+ PSI. Given that most guns are around 60,000 PSI, how are you keeping parts from wearing out prematurely?

Anonymous

Can you ask Federal Ammunition if they are still producing their Champion Aluminum line of handgun ammo?

Andy1963

One for you. What year was your first SHOT Show? Do you remember which people you wanted to meet and what exhibits you wanted to see?

Anonymous

Ian, please tell Laugo that we were impressed by your recent video about the Laugo Alien competition pistol. Then ask them when they will start selling a smaller, simplified version for EDC. Remind them that Canadian law limits pistols to barrels a minimum of 4.5 inches long and pistol magazines can only hold 10 rounds, so an EDC version of the Alien can get by with a shorter magazine well and grip. A spur on the bottom front of the grip would be nice.

Anonymous

Could you please ask HK if/ beg them to bring back their roller-delayed rifles on my behalf?

Anonymous

Stop by the Energetic Armament booth and ask about any new suppressors they have planned for 2022. Also what's your take on the new eForm 4?
