I Set The Alien Loose On My Nemesis Target

http://www.patreon.com/ForgottenWeapons https://www.floatplane.com/channel/ForgottenWeapons/home Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! http://shop.forgottenweapons.com The Laugo Alien has survived its mud and sand tests without any long term damage, and now it's time to put it to work. The MGM Spinner has long been my nemesis, and so I bought one to practice on. The advantages of the Alien are immediately evident - I've never been able to double-tap a spinner except by occasional luck. With the Alien it's something I can do routinely, even here on my first time trying. Contact: Forgotten Weapons 6281 N. Oracle 36270 Tucson, AZ 85740

Yep, hate that spinner!

Doesn't hitting the bottom make it rotate in the opposite direction from a hit on the top?

Cheat move: go back to the Luger in 45.

Just needs a little FrogLube paste in the zerk. You'll be hitting 181 degrees in no time.

ViejoLobo

Yikes! They ARE painfully expensive.

It looks like you had a few misses. Also, what ammo are you using? Wouldn't it be better to use a heavier 9mm like 124 or 147 grain bullet?

Anonymous

I suspect the .45 will remain popular in games like this where momentum matters, regardless of its more minimal bearing on real-world application. I believe I mentioned in one of the earlier Laugo threads - they need to move the red dot mount over the barrel so you can grip the slide at the rear. . .where it ISN'T getting hot.

Hotter and heavier ammo.

William Flowers

Have you talked with Laugo about the possibility of reversing the ejection port?

Perhaps an Alien in 9mm Major, .40 S&W or 10mm would teach that arrogant sob MGM a lesson?

Guido Schriewer

allright that would be a highcap wonder9. I am wondering... did you ever saw those be worked successfully with less rounds but power? like a sreaming 357, heaaavyyy 45colt, warm 10mil, 45acp+P or something? 357sig? is power enough to get those to rotate? never run into one of those yet.

You were close a couple times early on. Why did you not shoot the back side when it was ALMOST ready to go all the way over? My personal best is 3 shots from my 45 ACP.

Anonymous

I can understand that. I saw you get the sight picture and was waiting for the shot!

Perhaps a softer projectile would trasmit more energy after the impact?
