I did a tour of the Baltic States before Covid. Every hotel we stayed in was full on Natio troops. More than once one of the Men as me if I was America and to please tell the folks back home how much help they needed to keep Russia from crossing the borders. We have no idea how fragile that whole area is. And the risk to the free World. Now we have this corrupt shell of a man running of Country. And we are in danger of losing everything.

Last time I was in Washington (pre-CV) there was a demonstration outside the White House. It was some Polish American organization(s) organizing it. They were asking the US govt to have more troops in Poland/Baltics. The Poles have some terrible history. They understand what is at stake. Most western Europeans are too smug/lazy to save themselves.
