New Englander in Ole Anglia

I am pleasantly surprised by your answer I thought you were going to say the Thompson is heavily overvalued.

Ian, you should invest in some clip-on microphones for when you do these hotel room interviews.

I approve of your choice of Laiphroig 10-yr old!

Ian, a question I wish I had been able to come up with before your interview with Keene --- Considering submachineguns' less powerful ammunition, their limited range, and the ubiquitousness of body armor, are submachineguns still relevant in full scale current day warfare?

Agreed, perhaps get a 2/4-channel audio recorder for these occasions. They can be pretty small but would be good to have both voice tracks separate from an ambience track. That gives a lot more room to fix things in post. Audio has never been Ian's thing but it would be good see some effort in this. Perhaps even following an audio course?
