Space blaster!

Pete Conneely

Hella raaad! And exclamations of that nature.

Charles Adams

Shades of 80s flashbacks! So you’re expanding the channel from Forgotten Weapons to obscure weapons that somehow, improbably work?

Ryan D Thorne

You’re making my Patreon support totally worth it.

Fruitbat44

Cool. I recall reading about the 'Linda' in old issue of Combat Handguns(?) magazine - I believe it was actually marketed as an "assault pistol" - I recall thinking that what it really needed to be useful for anything was a shoulder stock. Like Ian I am rather surprised that it actually fires and is accurate. Looking forward to the return of Bret Cobray.

Andrew Cook

Brett Cobray should definitely be that 80's guy in 1993

Chairman

All because you have to be cooler than Othais and his Keltec... I love where this is going. Brent Cobray needs walk-on music for the match: "Real American" - Rick Derringer, "Angel of the City" - Robert Tepper (from the movie "Cobra"), or "Shot in the Dark" - Ozzy Osbourne.

Guido Schriewer

backup to what? the terry? should you get your hands on a terry.... would love a video about that. kind of my teenager magazin articles from the 80s.

Looks like a prop gun from a late 80's C-movie (shot on video of course) whose director couldn't decide if he was doing a Mad Max knockoff or Escape From New York knockoff. Coincidentally, that description also perfectly fits Brett Cobray. This is a match made in Red Letter Media heaven.

Anonymous

That's the point! Mix them ALL!

Can we get a Brett T-shirt?

Bpendragon

Slightly unrelated, but is there any chance we could also get the direct YT link in the description? For those of us on mobile, it requires 3/4 clicks and fiddly "open in app" to get through Patreon and to YouTube, whereas a direct URL will open the YouTube app directly. A couple of the other creators I support do this, I assume for the same reason.

"I think I'm mixing a lot of cultural metaphors here" ..... Forsooth I grok your jive me hearty! .... Relevant XKCD https://xkcd.com/771/

Brent Cobray needs to drive a Pontiac Fiero and wear Vuarnet sunglasses

Brett Cobray should do Cameos

Brett Cobray the shadowy former operative of the Elbonian Special Intelligence Service. Convicted of a crime he was too busy to have committed, he escaped into the Arizona underground. When your weapon has been forgotten and no one else can help, call him.

I've always honestly liked the idea of the linda - it's pretty close to (aside from sbr issues) the ideal 9mm portable. not sure about pistol mode, but enough hairspray will work.

Anonymous

Thanks for the quickie vid, A trip down memory lane, I remember those red dot sights in the early 80s and the Linda firearms were dogs back then. later from Texas.

What was left [maybe a dozen guns] of the Linda factory inventory, used to show up on a table at the Puyallup gun show.

commandZee

Brent Cobray sounds like he would've been played by Kurt Russel.

Clifton Ballad

3rd on the Brett T shirt in some shape and form.

Brett Cobray should be a mix of cultural metaphors. That seems perfect for his character. I say run with it Ian and have fun.

Anonymous

Yes!! The return of 80s Ian!

Andreas Nohl

I first sought "Linda" oh he es making a cooking video with the nearly illigal to grow German potato sort. :-) (The EU law thinks the potato is not longer usable because ther status as an growable sort exspired).

Anonymous

Brent Cobray: he had a nasty reputation as a cruel dude, they said he was ruthless, said he was crude.

Anonymous

I see Linda and the first thing I think of is a Conway Twitty song. But this is pretty good too

Anonymous

Brett Cobray would use this as a main and a shuriken as back up.

Anonymous

The gun looks like something from a 70'ies Sci-Fi B-Movie. :)

Bruce Brodnax

You really need to check out the vintage advertising for it... whattababe! ;-)

Bruce Brodnax

We used to sell the shiznit out of the Vaurnets at the sporting goods retailer I worked at in the '80s! Someone should bring back those catseye lenses w/ polarization this time...

Wilkinson Linda: banned by name in the PRK!

This is the most Brett Cobray weapon ever: https://www.ftfindustries.com/product/cobray-folding-throwing-knife.html

Also, I’m definitely in for a Brett Cobray t-shirt.

You can't fool me, that's a 1950s ray gun from mars
