Patreon has introduced an option to allow folks to fund folks like me for a full year at a time, and I have enabled it. Monthly subscription is still an option; the annual plan is something that a few people have specifically asked me for, and I see no reason not to offer it as an alternative. So if you've been wanting a way to do this, it's now available!

How about an hourly rate?

Ben

I hate to be first on this thread, but what are the options if any? (It had to be asked)

Which is better from your business' point of view? Is monthly cash flow preferable to annual lump sums? I'm fortunate enough to opt for either, so I would welcome your steer. Thank you for your stimulating content and the work you put into it Ian, it is appreciated.

It really doesn't make much difference to me. Annual does pay a little bit less in credit card transaction fees, so I suppose it's technically the better option - but only by a small margin.

Charles Easton

I hadn't considered transaction fees - my company's bank charges per transaction for payments and receipts. Thanks.

Monthly is good right now. Hand to mouth is just around the corner for some.

I need far more information before I do a single payment of $60 per year. It seems I get the same thing with supposed access to FW archives, which shouldn't even be a thing, and I get access to a discord I want nothing to do with.

You really think I need to see how much money I give you, if my wife were to see........ i going stay monthly but its cool option

I image this is handy after a tax return for anyone that does not like to manage money.

Just upped my commitment and paid for the year. Keep up the great content!

Yea Ian. I paid up too. You do a really great job cataloging these really neat old guns. And some not so old. It's like getting to take a real look at stuff I will never have time to see at a gun show. I would enjoy doing what you do. Keep up the good work.

Is there a net benefit to you [ie: Patreon takes a smaller cut because of reduced billing charges] or is it all a wash?

Glad the year long membership was made available. I prefer to pay for the year instead of monthly. Ian's content is worth it.
