Hey Ian

Anonymous

What kind of tea do you drink in the a.m.?

Anonymous

Have fun! See you in Las Vegas next year ... both SHOT Show and at Red October Kalashnikov Championship 2019.

Looking forward to the match videos!

Word of warning: Arizona 89 was shut down from Flagstaff to 160 today due to storm damage, and the alternate route through AZ 264 has no gas for about 120 miles. Ask me how I know!

the JIC bag is my favorite part.

For custom moulded earplugs, I've found the decibullz ones are pretty good and moldable at home. They're probably not as good as professionally molded ones seem to work out well. On the other hand, they're orderable off the internet. Also, tea and Within Temptation... both awesome things.

Lostngone

Oh yea, and clothes and stuff... 😂

Lostngone

You HAVE to coordinate your clothes to your firearm... What would the other guys say if they saw me carrying a Chinese AK while wearing Russian boots! OMG I would be the laughingstock of the match!

Its ok to like Tea, Ian!

"I take the 8mm Lebel ammo box, because everyone just knows it's mine!"

getting Czeched out! love the Czech m-97 where did you say you got it? good luck!

Brandon T

...because you invoked the storm through some esoteric, dark powers, so that people would have to fill up at the gas station you own that just so happens to be the last on 264 before the 120-mile long stretch?

Bruce Brodnax

Waiting for the DeciBulz to be less than the $26 I've seen them on A-zon since I 1st heard of them. One thing the molded earplugs [sillycone like Ian's] is that over time, your ear canal shrinks and they become tighter until they begin to become uncomfortable [takes about 10 years, but it *will* happen]; the remoldable thermoplastic of the DeciBulz means you can reshape them as needed. Of course, after 10 years of regular use, you might feel you've got your $ worth out of the silicone plugs and just get new ones: it's a personal choice. Regardless, if you shoot regularly, you'll spend more on foamies in the long run...

I take it you just buy your ammo at the match?

Nice outfit! Don't take it as critique, the uniform is appropriate to the gear but it isn't "comie" stuff. It's the vz. 95 pattern, so after the fall of communism. But like I said, appropriate nevertheless. If you've ever got the inclination, look up the vz. 60 "needle" pattern uniform, or the vz. 85 khaki uniform.

Be careful bringing alcohol into utah. We’ve got I’ve gotten stopped with non utah stuff coming in from Wendover, and they’re none to kind about it, assuming it is found.

If You speak about that camo gear I believe Ian contacted FENIX Protector company.

Ian, do you have a link to the chest rig system?

ForgottenWeapons

Not for the chest rig, but the pouches are these: <a href="https://www.fenix-protector.com/en/pouches-magazine-pouches-open/3063/pouch-1xsa58-open-laser/PM-143" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.fenix-protector.com/en/pouches-magazine-pouches-open/3063/pouch-1xsa58-open-laser/PM-143</a>

I applaud your non coffee drinking, woved to never take up that vile habit since I as a eight year old understood that my parents where like night and day before and after, so I figured there must be something fishy with that black goo. ;)

Anonymous

Ian, if you would ever need any Czech surplus equipment, I can send you anything you wanted. (Just note that there are bit newer BDUs than you got from Fenix guys, just slightly different camo color and few new velcro patch spots)
