While I was checking for other files, I found the ones that controls how often a toddler will decide to messy quit from eating. That has driven me nuts since the beginning, so I added them to a package and I was determined to set it all to 0....

But I'm not Maxis..... so guess what... they have 11 files divided by food type to control it... and they set the exact same values in all of them. So... I decided to lower the chance, but randomize it a bit.....

Now, you may not like the changes I made, so I'm going to show you how you can fine tune the mod to your liking.

The XML  food_Eat_Active_Toddler_Blob_Applesauce  is all commented where you need to make the changes and where I made them, and the value I changed. Some of them are left as they were but I included them into the mod so you can change them if you want. After the firs one you should have an idea of how it works. We're looking for this outcome:

and for these values that come after it:

the base value is the chance of the messy quit to happen, the second one is the tested multiplier in case some conditions are met (in this case, the hunger bar is full), they don't look all the same and are divided by traits. For example, the next one I'm going to show you has a multiplier in case of angry mood:

The first set is standard, the second one is for fussy and wild toddlers and so on... you can have an idea by looking at the whitelist and blacklist of trait if you scroll down a bit. Simply change the values to your liking, you can set them all to 0 if you don't want this in you game at all. I'll notify if the mod needs updating, but I'm also going to include a zip with the loose, unchanged xmls I used, so you can store them somewhere and check yourself in case of patches, either by confronting the files with the new tuning or with this tool

Fell free to share your results with other people that may not have the time to fine tune the mod on their own. If you leave the link, I'll add it to the post.

Hi Zero! I would really like to learn how to make my own clothing, furniture, and small interaction mods to add realism to the game. Is there any videos or tips you could give to me, so I can start learning? I think it would be fun, but I have zero skill or knowledge in this topic. Thanks!

for the interactions you can follow my tutorials. for clothing and furniture I can't really help you.
