Ok, I managed to test it even though my PC is tired and keeps giving me Blue Screens... and it seems to work....

It was brought to my attention that the potion of immortality doesn't freeze a sim age... as this pisses me off greatly because I had plans for the potion in my main save, I made multiple versions of this:

- True Immortal: Sims with the trait cannot die and will not age.

- Only no age: They can still die.

- Only immortal: They can still age.

Now it also removes the stupid headlines effect

ONLY PICK ONE

Thank you for this this is amazing! You are doing great work, I plan on becoming a patron next Friday when I get paid to support your efforts. By the way I discovered you through Carl's Sims 4 guides I don't think I'd be able to play the new pack with out all the mods you've made so far so again thank you. :D

Amazing mods! I love your work, Zero. Quick question, I should only pick one of these, right? Or using this mod I'll get three options to choose in the game?

"as this pisses me off greatly" is also my motivation for several of my CC ideas lmao

Be busy playing Sims 4 in a few minutes.,

hey so I use the no age only version and I don't know if this is supposed to happen but the days until aging are still counting down, like my sim took the potion with 12 days left until next age and the next day it went down to 11 days. I only played vampires so far and with them the age woulnd't count down

I used the settings from baby Ariel trait so I need to verify with Baby Ariel.

Thank you so much for your mod, especially considering that the Potion of Immortality is officially bugged and characters die of old age despite having the Immortal trait. You fixed my game, thanks! Also, do you think it's possible to mod the Potion of Rejuvenation to change its effect from "restarting your current life stage" to "changing your life stage to the previous one", so that elders can turn into young adults once again, for example? Do you think you can do it? Sorry if this bothers you, but this potion really bugs me, as it's nothing different from the regular Youth Potion.

Exactly how I feel. The rejuvenation potion should drop you back to YA if you are older than that, not just be a rehash of the regular Potion Of Youth reward drink.

Personally I liked the headline effect. (Helps me SEE who "successfully" drank the potion. Over on the EA forum I even took the time to play a clean game SOLELY to give the team a save game that clearly shows people dying off despite having drank the potion. While I greatly appreciate they fixed the spellcasters resetting when they hit Virtuoso and added the prices to the potions so they can now be sold (on only new potions created in the game it seems), Bugs me a little that the Immortality potion still wasn't fixed yet. I think the immortality potion was intended to be so those that drank it still aged until they hit Elder and then stop and stay alive forever from that point on, but could still die other ways. Probably based on the legend of witches being old. The thing is some of us don't want our spellcasters to grow old, we want them to STOP aging where they are like how it is when a sim is turned into a vampire. At least on some sims. On SOME sims I DO want them to be immortal Elders for gameplay reasons. They could add an "ageless" potion where it stops your aging where it is ON TOP of the immortality potion. Or turn the Rejuvenation potion into that instead of being just another Potion Of Youth reward drink. The aging part should be optional IMO. Thank You for adding a fix!

I think the effect is bugged too, given that it appears on the neck when it should be over the head and way too often...

I think this need an update.. the head effect is visible again, hate it :D

zer0_Mods_

I suspected this... I'll see what changed (it's not the only mod removing the headlines effect that is giving me problems right now)

I assume that the Only Immortality allows the Sim to age up to elder but prevents them from dying of old age. Is that correct?

mysteio

It seems it doesn't work anymore :C

Does this mod work on Sims who have already taken the Immortality Potion before the mod was installed? I'm assuming so since it sounds like it's just going off the trait but want to be sure. Thanks!

Nice :) I was looking for that, now my vampire Warlock can seek revenge for his sister's death, and " Play with " people forever.

Idea: Could you make a "Potion Of Mortality" if possible and have time? One that undoes the Immortality Potion for when either you or your sim gets tired of them living forever and wants them to grow old and die off for any storyplay or just personal choice reasons? Similar to the "problem" I had in another save that 90% of the sims were vampires and the population of vampires got a bit insane despite the game trying to kill them off in the sun (was not using the "no sun weakness" in that game for a particular reason in this instance and I wanted them to do the normal burn up). Anywho the Potion Of Immortality drinkers after a few thousand days and several Sim - Years later I might want to retire them from the game and undo the potion so they die off and rest in peace. Or storyline reasons it might be good to have that option too. I tried removing the trait via mccc a few times and it doesn't seem to either stay removed by the next loading screen, or wont come off at all period. An in-gameplay way of doing it would be cool. I'm seriously surprised EA did not create one for the default ROM pack as vampires have the optional choice for the cure, and thus their version of immortallity in their pack. Maybe the fail for the potion could be something funny like it drops their age to toddler or some silly shit like that. Thanks! (Offtopic comment: It seems the game's preferred method of killing off vampires is burning in one way or another. Either the AI has them do dumb shit like deliberately walk outside and stand there in the sun repeatedly even when I send their ass back in the house. I finally had to lock em in a room or make them hibernate to keep them from going back outside on their own when I had the free will turned on. OR the dryer would catch them on fire EVERY TIME if I had not upgraded it yet, or they would run into a burning house for some dumb reason and stand there in the flames till they died and NOT to help put out said fire, or burn up in SOME SORT in game fire related event. Especially when I had the sun resistance power activated. But never had a vamp die by any other means (electrocution, emotional, or anything. Even the damn deadly murphy bed wouldn't do it!)

Yes I can see to add a new potion, I need to mess around with the vampire potions mod to do it but I'll just separate the shared tuning from it.
