What even is Bluesky? A Mastodon instance? UPD: The blog has this. > On Bluesky, users own their data, developers will never get locked out of the ecosystems they help build, and creators own their relationships with their audience. Sounds too good to be true. Users own their data? I know one social network that does it (Retroshare) but it's a desktop app. Browser storage is too unreliable to be used to store ALL user created content. Or do users own their own data while it's still being stored on Bluesky servrers? How is that going to work? What if FBI comes knocking when somebody reports CP?
