oh nvm he said the proper quote in your subs lets go. in the one i watched he said "above and below i dominate" which isnt bad necessarily but underwhelming compared to "throughout the heavens and earth, i alone am the honored one" imo but this episode is still gas 10/10 for me what you watch this on?

I think the reason they're doing a recap break between the arcs is a scheduling conflict in their timeslot with some other show or event that takes priority. I could be wrong, but I THINK I remember reading that.

purple is less a black hole since that EXISTS and more bringing imaginary mass into reality, which shouldn't be possible and results in it just deleting the entire existence of whatever it touches. S1 purple gave it form but it really isn't something you can see which S2 displayed better

Its funny that I am less wowed by Gojo and Geto's come back cause I know this is a flashback arc unlike Bungo where I really don't know if someone is truly dead or not, especially after this last episode! 😨 Still the fight scenes are always spectacular as we expect from the slave drivers of MAPPA.🙄

I always viewed Red and Blue as being similar to Shinra and Chibaku Tensei from Deva Path in Naruto, and Purple just completely erases whatever it touches.

2023-07-28 11:22:15 BTW, Toji remembering his son out of nowhere isn't just him being a deadbeat. The mf has issues. According to the wiki/character fanbook (so no spoilers, wasn't in the manga): The Zenin Family didn't just reject him. They exposed Toji to abuse as a child. He received his scar when he was young after the clan threw him into "the disciplinary pit of cursed spirits" (kind of fucked since without cursed energy of his own or a tool, he can't exorcise any of them, which is also the main reason he was ostracized). He became unstable with the Zenin household, left and started freeloading of women (laughed my ass off when I found out GILF was a descriptive term :D) and taking shady jobs to fund his inventory. He calmed down thanks to Megumi's mother. However, she died soon after Megumi was born, causing Toji to return to that state. To note, GOATJI's influence extends beyond this arc, but I will let you find out how.

Except for the fact, it wasn't spoiling. what I wrote was all from the Jujutsu Kaisen Official Fanbook - non of it was ever mentioned in the manga (also, all of it was background info on a character we've already been acquainted with) but fine, I removed everything.

fair point, still, the info I read in the fanbook was a pretty cool read and like I mentioned, isn't in the manga, no guarantee it'll ever be revealed in the anime guess to whomever is interested, there is a fanbook. but in said fanbook, there is some other stuff that would spoil you if you're not up-to-date

I just caught up on JJK fire episodes, my boy Toji was too good for this show so they had to him outta here smh. He may be a deadbeat dad but he atleast remember the lil nigga name at the end and set him up with Gojo, its the thought that counts lol
