Such a good real first episode to start the season! I was worried we would get a recap honestly, but i'm glad they did that in flashback form at the end. The only thing I think I need to say is that it was Rudy joining Counter Arrow, for the explicit(possibly only implicit) reason that was; the guild wasn't going to give him the quest without a party. He could've just gone out and did the quest himself, but if I remember the Guild rules that either were shown or should've been shown all the way back on the demon continent, is that he could've been penalized even if he succeeded, due to not "accepting" the quest. Unless he took another quest in the same area and "just so happened" to kill the bears as well.

2023-07-11 16:21:16 I took it more as in he took the quest himself because a) he didn’t want nobody with him, but also b) he was kinda done with life and knew deep down this is a way he could go out without having to feel guilty about leaving all his people behind.
