My personal favorite ep of the season! Yuki Kajiura's musical score popping off alongside Mitsuri was epic af (same soundtrack composer as Fate/Zero and the Heaven's Feel movies). And ofc the beautiful angles, and other lovely visuals. Also, the way Mitsuri moved and fought, and the way her combat was animated, kinda reminded me of Rider in Heaven's Feel. Between the speed, and the air time, the dive bombing, and whip-like objects.

Lol Mitsuri's Demon Slayer mark looks like a flower-shaped hickey. Also, even I didn't even think about the connection with the sakura mochi, even though I've had them before. XD In real life, the leaf part is actually a lot darker, really a different shade of green altogether. So it didn't really click for me until I saw this and how they colored it in animation lol.
