Got a theory about Mei.... what if she's like.... the CORE (or something). What if they gotta kill her, to really put down the Tensen once and for all. Yes, the elixir is the reason they regenerate (as the anime has told us). But there's gotta be a limit or weakness. What if destroying the core stops all that shit, and the core is Mei.
