Comment take 2: Sorachi really pulled an Uno Reverse with Ensho. I remember getting whiplash the first two minutes of that episode/chapter. Went from: "They really are going to redeem this MF?!" To "That's way better!" Then being Surprised I felt anything for Nobunobu. Also! Op has a visual change next episode. Since I know you don't watch the op usually, I wanted to let you know.

idk where you saw that gintoki would have a different VA in the spin off but i'm pretty sure that's cap. it's the same old gintoki in the trailer

i will never forgive Nobunobu for what he did and i didnt cry when he died but i did feel something. it makes sense that he died at the hands of some fodder after what he put everyone thru but leave it to Sorachi for his amazing writing and making me feel for a character i hated. again, its not enough to make me forgive but i do still think he had a good development. also Takasugi has some of my absolute favorite lines in these 2 eps. he is one of my favorite characters and this is also why: "will you stand beside an ordinary man named Takasugi Shinsuke?" "face your suffering and struggle for the rest of your life as an ordinary man." 🥹
