I really hope the people who are just now watching vinland from season1, don't shit on this season because of the lack of action. Honestly, if the season is going to be more character driven like the manga readers say, I feel like it could lowkey be better than season 1 IMO. This season has been fire so far too.

I’d say he unknowingly pointed out an issue Thorfinn has buried himself in for a very long time. His tendency to go blindly in self absorption and further self destruction, as a child he chose revenge and when he had the chance to turn his course he still chose what was the Id response and it landed him into slavery. He needs that person who definitely had a slightly more developed childhood (yes I know Einar isn’t the most positive) but a new perspective will make him look outward than from the quick satisfaction.
