Thx y'all for the reaction 😊 As for the show itself, it has 2 seasons as of now (12 Eps each) with the 3rd season already confirmed. It feels goofy and slow at the beginning because this show loves to go into deep character progress/development on pretty much everyone and world build itself in my opinion. What i do love about the show is the idea of having all those historically important figures from Japan (Kojiro and Musashi for example) in it without overpowering them from the get go and instead giving them a learning curve ☺️ If i were to compare it to another show, then it would definitely be Black Clover 🤔

So not gonna lie to ya, S1 is not the greatest cause it is 75% world building and not much with characters other than meeting them and putting the trio together. 😖 S2 though blew me away! Character development was on point and the action was killer! Also the supporting characters are more interesting. 😊

I was super stoked to see S3 confirmed after the wild ride of S2 for sure, but man don't jack on Orient by comparing it tonl Black Clover. That shit is a hot mess by itself! 😅

I'm sorry Hana, Black Clover was just the first thing that came to my mind when trying to compare it to another anime 😅 it's just a typical shounen i guess, hence why predictable most of the time. But i totally agree with you, can't wait for S3 either 😱 On a sidenote tho...S1 did have it's epic fight moments especially towards the second half of the season

Nah nah no worries, I mean I started Black Clover at one point and then got smart and stopped watching.^0^ Oh for sure first season followed most of the tropes, but there were moments like the sword choosing, and meeting the antagonist that I was like...wait a minute, something funny is going on, and that is when I really got hooked. ^-^ Oh also if you are around the Discord, I'm Daisuke_Takahiro over there, the channel Okaa-san, voted unan by everyone. ^-^

I don't recall a season 2, I dropped it after a couple episodes into the second cour of S1 cuz I just lost interest in it while watching a bunch of other anime that I was way more interested in. But if it really does get better, I might consider going back to it.
