Oh shit dope. This is an adaptation of an 80s manga thats really cool,the author is a big fan of metal bands from that time period thus character and place names are all music references. Metallicanica is a reference to Metallica for instance.

So excited you guys decided to check this one out! I compared it to the original 6 ep OVA and it is pretty on point, but better in a lot of ways. ^-^ Also the voice of Dark Schneider is the same as Chuuya from BSD. You can hear it when he does high pitch screams if you remember the scream Chuuya did just before he was swallowed by Poe's book with Rampo-san! ^0^

Oh and Javon got the year wrong. This shit actually started out in the 80's. 88 to be exact, the height of the hair and heavy metal bands that are mentioned in the anime. I do have to say that I prefer princess Sheila in this one than the original. She had that 80's shoulder pad shit going on! ^0^
