God I need to see a Tomie adaptation. Every other attempt at adapting Junji Ito's work has been so incredibly awful, yet this is absolutely nailing it. For the first time ever it feels as creepy as it should be. Sure, it's not quite as impactful on the manga (mostly because turning the page yourself to a high detailed image of this kind of body horror is FAR more effective), but no other attempt has gotten this close before. I hope that this makes enough money that they can hit Tomie. Uzumaki makes sense for the first try, but Tomie is easily my favorite work by him and easily one of my all time favorite manga.
