So happy to meet another Honda. Clearly, Alena will have a positive impact on many lives thanks to their unique perspectives and interests. I encourage you to apply and research gaming therapies - in my field of applied cognitive science, we know that humans are most motivated to learn and change when they’re having fun. As a mom and an auntie, it’s fun to see another young adult reacting to baby and kid stories. I treasure them as Uncle Kirk does. Cheers to Alena and all Hondas!

Thank you Dr. Honda and Alena for this episode. I am a half-step behind Alena in this process (I just reserved my place to walk for my undergrad degree!). We used to call people like me “non-traditional students” (I’m old) so I found it particularly helpful. Sometimes it feels like there is so much to think about that it is paralyzing, so having little anchor points to start thoughts is extremely helpful to me. Thanks again for both of you and the hard work you put in!
