Just catching up to this episode and feeling very moved. Thank you Bob, for your candor and vulnerability in this interview, and Dr H for your superbly loving and respectful style. My father was severely abused and neglected growing up, and as a result he's stuck emotionally at a very young age and most definitely disorganized. This manifests in his utter inability to see himself as "the grownup" hence he becomes "threatened" by children because ultimately he experiences them as his peers. His tantrums were very reminiscent of a 3 year old, but TO a 3 year old this huge red-faced person screaming and lashing out was absolutely terrifying. I can relate to a lot of your experiences Bob and admire your ability to reach the point of charity and forgiveness. Very powerful conversation. ❤️

I appreciate Bob’s honesty so much. Bob, your vulnerability helps all of us have the courage to be honest about our inner feelings. Thank you.
