Apparently, they would go to "Kids eat for free" places, which could explain how they can afford so many kids... Plus, they also homeschool which means less expenses. People who own farms tend to want to have more kids since their kids will be farm hands for them, so perhaps the Duggars have something like that too.

Around minute 38-39, as an ex-vangelical, I too am with Berto about wishing that Christianity would just return to teaching the positive and loving doctrines rather than teaching hellfire and brimstone, and reading the Bible literally. Edit to add: The fundamentalist Christians are always always preaching about sin and God's judgment and retribution. That is NOT what the Bible and Christianity is about (or should be about). They also read the Bible literally and take everything literally EXCEPT for Jesus' message to love your neighbor. Loving your neighbor means rejecting doing evil to them, yet, they're the same people who are violent or cruel or hateful towards people they don't identify with. -Jules
