This episode is so great. I’m a therapist and learned so much about how an ethical therapist should respond to this. I remember constantly learning in school that you absolutely never ever have a romantic relationship with a client, which I 100% agree with of course, but I don’t remember ever being a detailed discussion on how to handle the feelings if they come up aside from making a referral to another therapist. In addition to being very educational, your responses were really funny, which I also appreciate.
