I love being reminded of great songs, thank you for this. I don’t know how Dr H identified so many of those so quickly! I’m curious which are your favorite Strokes songs/albums. I’m sure it’s been asked and answered, but I missed it

My fave LP is "Is This It?" My cover band played that LP from beginning to end before the pandemic. It's a classic. But my fave song is Hard to Explain - so happy and so sad and so perfect. I have a lot of memories with that song in early 00s.

Younger than 45 and definitely down with the list/bands mentioned! I listened to pretty much all the music mentioned. It was disappointing there were hardly any to no women on the list, especially legends like Janis Joplin, Joan Jett, Patty Smith, Stevie Nicks, Pat Benetar, Cranberries, blondie, Alanis Morissette etc etc etc
