I have a friend whose relative is an ICU nurse in our area. Her hospital (and all the others) was so overwhelmed with critical care patients that the nurses had NO DAYS OFF for about 50 days straight! I can't imagine how they got through it. And this happened at least twice, per my friend, at different points in the pandemic. Our country had a nursing shortage even before the pandemic, many have left the profession now, and we are not educating nearing enough new nurses to replace them.

Kinda late, but thank you for these recap videos. They were so validating, espically the parts where you and humberto felt outcasted when you were weary of the virus early on.. i felt the same way when I would wear a mask or not want to hug another person and they would be like ???????
