Lucky 07 (Patreon)

Lucky has done(will do) this to each of his human friends at LEAST once. This is Francis' first experience with the doppleganger trick. (He's not a fan.)

It's late, but I hope this makes up for it. I had a sudden rush of inspiration to see this finished at 2 AM, and it's nearly 7 now LOL

Things I'd like to scream about:

1.) Look at AJ and Jocelyn in the official style!!! AH!! (I love them, they're closer to being how I imagined them!!)

(Lots of Lucky things here we go.)

2.) Lucky is BIG. This is the first time we really get to see him in his true human height(in proportion to the other people around him.) My style in the last few pages made him seem smaller, so drawing 6'7" Lucky next to 5'9"(i think??) Francis was SO satisfying!!!

3.) The mid-form transition!!! I've been playing with ways that Lucky's shapeshifting transition looks, and I think an all at once transition will be the original purple glow, and a gradual transition will be like this!! I LOVE how it turned out! (Also, he does it gradually here so Francis doesn't notice until it's too late LOL)

4.) LUCKY FLIRTING. I DID NOT ANTICIPATE HOW GAY THIS CHARACTER WAS GOING TO BE.

AND my screaming is over. I really love these characters. I really enjoy getting to add to this comic. I hope it can become a more consistent thing! Thank you all SO MUCH for making this possible! <3
